Class reflection #1

Class reflection #1:

These past few days, in the firm, have been going well. Even with saying that, the lesson that is constantly being reinforced is the role  of cooperation and  the ability to be compliant, when needed, because in many cases, there is really no other respectable option. In that case one must have faith that the idea of the other is feasible and if it is not, one must have the faith that their partners will have the conviction to make it a presentable product so that the group gets a good grade.
The issue of cooperation and compliance go hand in hand. In most cases, people have an idea that they would like to pursue. In  many cases, adjustments need to be made to those ideas to make them profitable; however, many take this as a sign of attack no matter how well you try to phrase their observations. Since this is clearly not a class where I can resign from a group and join one that may be somewhat more appealing, I have come to understand the role of a motivator; the person who can help another make their dream a reality. I want to re-iterate that since this is a class setting, playing the role of a motivator isn't resigning to live life in the backseat. For this class, playing the role allows you to learn how to encourage people and critique their ideas in an inviting fashion.

Moral of the story: Helping people realize their dreams, helps you gain their confidence which develops partnerships and connections.
